The cable car is a very popular attraction in Singapore. The cable car is quick, easy and has an amazing view. So much so, some tourists may even choose to use the cable car as a way to commute from Harbourfront to Sentosa!

Why Ride on the Cable Car?

The Cable Car gives Sentosa goers an alternative mode of transport and it is the only area which has the Cable Car in Singapore. It allows everyone to see Singapore in a different light and if you are riding on the Cable Car in the evening, you will even get to enjoy the beautiful sunset! Singapore’s sunsets are stunning (most of the time) and you will get the best view from riding the Cable Car!

If you are celebrating a special someone’s anniversary, you can even choose to go for Sky Dining! This is appropriate for anniversaries, birthdays and so many other occasions! There is also a menu you can choose from. Enjoy an evening amidst the sunset while eating some of your favourite foods!

Things to Take Note...

The cable car is an attraction that does get affected by the weather and if there is extreme weather – such as heavy rain, thunderstorm, etc. the attraction will not operate – due to safety reasons. Because of this, visitors may not be able to enjoy the cable car on their intended date. This may come as a disappointment to many, hence it is recommended to check the weather before heading down to the attraction.

Besides checking the weather, you can choose to purchase an open-dated ticket, with a validity of at least 3 months! More information on how to purchase these can be found below.

Plan Your Cable Car Ride, Right!

As mentioned above, cable car can be used as a mode of transport. The best way to use the cable car is when you are going to Sentosa/Resorts World Sentosa to spend the day at Universal Studios Singapore, the S.E.A Aquarium, etc. There are round trip tickets, allowing you to go to and fro using the Cable Car! If you'd like, you can walk there and take the Cable Car back or vice versa.

The Cable Car should be your mode of transport at least once during your trip. This ride with a stunning view should not be missed!
