Allow me to introduce you to one of the most beautiful attractions in the city. It is home to thousands of different fauna and flora! If you are someone who loves nature and all things flowers, Gardens by the Bay is the right place for you. You can come to Gardens by the Bay with your families, significant partners, or even alone! Through 2015 to 2016, Gardens by the Bay has been visited 8.8 million people. That being said, we are sure this is an attraction that should not be missed!

What makes Gardens by the Bay Special?

Gardens by the Bay is one of the world’s largest vegetation and the world’s largest water tallest indoor waterfall. The cloud forest has a 35-metre tall mountain showcasing plant life from tropical highlands up to 2,000 metres above sea level. This is the world’s first and it is a must-see for everyone who comes to Singapore. Besides the Cloud Forest, the Gardens by the Bay is also home to the Flower Dome. The Flower Dome is home to a collection of plants from deserts all around the world!

There are also man-made trees at Gardens by the Bay! They go by the name Supertrees. Fun Fact: These stunning trees were man-made trees of up to 16 storeys and can be found all around the garden! This is definitely a must-see when you come to Singapore!

To enter the indoor conservatories – such as the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome, you will have to pay an entrance fee, but for the outdoor garden, you can enjoy it free of cost! There are different exhibits every month/every 2 months and they are all more unique and special! If you come during the Mid-Autumn Festival, there will be an exhibit in regards to that and if you are in Singapore during Christmas, Gardens by the Bay will have their annual exhibit up for display – Christmas Wonderland! This exhibit is for all the Christmas Lovers out there and we are sure you would not be disappointed – especially with the success previous years have seen.

Making one’s way to Garden by the Bay is extremely simple! You can take the MRT to Bayfront MRT station and walk to Gardens by the Bay from there! It is less than a 10-minute walk.
