The River Safari is the newest wildlife park under the Wildlife Reserves Singapore but it is definitely not the weakest! The River Safari has won the Certificate of Excellence 2017 and it is a must-see if you come to Singapore. There is no denying that the River Safari is loved by many, and it is the home to over 600 different species and the world’s largest freshwater aquarium!

River Safari’s Speciality

The River Safari is most famous of the pandas – Jia Jia and Kai Kai! They are one of the most loved animals by the public and they have also been spoken about. The River Safari is the only wildlife park in Singapore that are housing Pandas. You get the best of both worlds at the River Safari! You are able to take in the beauty of the marine life and the other regions of the world! Go on the River Amazon Quest and interact with the different species by seeing their lifestyles and behaviours, etc. Besides the River Amazon Quest, there is the River Safari Boat Ride where you can appreciate the beautiful scenery. You may even get a little peek of the Giraffes while sailing!

The River Safari is located at Mandai and that may be a far for many but we are here to provide you with a few solutions! The Mandai Express Khatib Service was recently introduced and it is a service that takes guests from Khatib MRT Station to Mandai… and the best part is that it only costs $1! Guests will have to use an ez-link to pay for the bus fare. This bus service is also available from Bedok and Tampines on the weekends and public holidays! Alternatively, you can take a train to Chua Chu Kang MRT Station and then take Bus 927 Bus 138 from the bus interchange at Ang Mo Kio MRT Station.
