Amazing tour of Little India!

We did the free walking tour of Little India and it was phenomenal! Our tour guide was very informative and presented all of the information in a way that was easy to understand. He kept the flow of the tour moving smoothly and all of the stops were very interesting. My husband and I learned so much about Singapore through the lens of Little India and we came away from the tour with a deeper appreciation and understanding of the Indian culture and influence on the city. Highly recommend this tour and we would love to do the others next time we are in Singapore

AAA walking tour through Little India with Bas!

I joined the Little India walking tour with Bas. It’s advertised as “free” and it’s nice to be able to just show up - but obviously the tour guide gets tipped. It was a well spent $10 for sure ! Bas was very knowledgeable and engaging. The group side was about 15 which was totally manageable. I had walked around Little India on my own the day before but was SO glad I joined the walking tour. Wish I’d had time to join all 3. Highly recommend.

Great walking tour at Little India, Chinatown & Kampong Glam

We thoroughly enjoyed 3 Free Walking Tours of Chinatown, Kampong Glam & Little India with Colin in early December. Colin gave us a fascinating insight into Singapore daily life and history. He was enthusiastic and informative. The knowledge he shared crossed over into other sightseeing and cuisine we experienced during our 7 day stay and added to our enjoyment and understanding of Singapore and its varied culture & religions. Thank you Colin for taking such good care of your "sheep".

Excellent & very informative guide!

Bas is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable. Being brought up in Singapore, there is so much about this city I would never have known if not for this tour. He brought us around Little India within 2.5 hours, not tiring at all. He even bought everyone food related to the tour for all to try. Great activity for family and friends, don’t forget to tip if you think he did a great job! Good practice to bring into Singapore.

Lovely walking tour!

Meet at Little India MRT at 4.30pm Sunday.
We had Bas as a guide (same guy did my city tour last year) and again he was excellent and passionate, spoke clearly and led the group of approx 25 at a pace suitable for all
He showed us all the relevant sites and places and included various stories.
We also got to visit a local temple.

He was full of information, ideas and tips for us.
Just make sure to stay to the end and tip the guide, he is worth it.

A must-try walking tour

Tour guide Basirun was really friendly and he ensured that all of us were well taken care of! What I love about the tour too was that it was really experiential. Bas bought us some Indian snacks to try so we knew what it tasted like, that was really nice of him. I would definitely recommend this tour to tourists who want to know more about the Indian culture in Singapore and even to locals who want to discover places they won’t know existed.
