Our Journey Through Time
Our story began with TY's vision at Woopa Travels, where he faced the challenge of finding authentic tour operators for outbound travelers. Frustrated by the prevalence of generic group tours—often offering low-quality experiences at high prices—TY decided to create Monster Day Tours. His goal was to develop and run tours that balance affordability with quality, ensuring that all travelers can enjoy genuine experiences.
With a passion for storytelling and exploration, we launched our first free walking tours. This marked the beginning of our journey as a tour operator. Through dedication and creativity, we expanded our offerings to include thematic tours, earning recognition, awards, and accolades along the way, which solidified our reputation in the industry.
When the Covid-19 pandemic struck, we embraced the opportunity to innovate rather than retreat. We became pioneers in virtual tours and developed augmented reality experiences, showcasing our adaptability in challenging times. Our creative solutions garnered media attention and positioned us as leaders in the evolving tourism sector.
As travel resumed, Monster Day Tours took on larger projects, including becoming the official operator of Free Singapore Tours, appointed by Changi Airport Group and Singapore Airlines. The brand also officially become part of Woopa Group, expanding alongside other tour brands catered to different audiences, while adopting sustainable tourism practices and solutions.
We expanded into Malaysia and China, launching our first tours in these exciting markets. Our journey is just beginning, and we aim to grow our presence in up to 50 cities by 2050, continuing to bring immersive travel experiences to adventurers around the globe.
