My colleague and I finally found out about this amazing tour program by chance after our third visit to the tourist visitor center. I had low expectations at first but the Chinatown and Kampong Glam walking tours were incredible. Angel was our guide and was amazing. After Chinatown tour we went to Maxwell Hawker for dinner- Yum. She was a real local with tons of knowledge and was able to weave in facts and history of the government and policies which helped explain a lot of the history and urbanism. Angel made sure all 35 people in the tour were included and didn’t get left behind or lost. The tour hit all the areas and sites I wanted to see.
